Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Layton Williams is taking LAYTON LIVE on a major UK tour in 2027, marking 20 years since he made his professional stage debut aged just 12.
Touring from 23 February – 4 April 2027, LAYTON LIVE will visit more than 20 towns and cities across the UK, including Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff and Sheffield, before culminating in a major London performance at the Adelphi Theatre on Sunday 4 April 2027.
This is a major new chapter for one of British entertainment's most recognisable performers.
LAYTON LIVE is a spectacular, high-energy celebration of Layton's extraordinary 20-year career, combining powerhouse vocals, spectacular choreography, storytelling and the behind-the-scenes stories audiences haven't heard before.
From making his professional debut as Billy Elliot in the West End at just 12, Layton has gone on to become an Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee, with a career spanning some of the biggest stages and screens in the UK and beyond.
The show will take audiences on a whistle-stop journey through the roles and moments that have defined him - from Billy Elliot, Hairspray, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Cabaret and Titanique, to Bad Education, Strictly Come Dancing and his work across television and film.
Expect show-stopping musical numbers, spectacular dance, plenty of laughs and a very candid look behind the curtain at two decades spent growing up in the spotlight.
Layton's career has already taken him from the West End to Broadway, with accolades including three Black British Theatre Awards, a WhatsOnStage Award, an Olivier Award for Titanique and a Tony Award nomination for the show's Broadway transfer.
Away from performing, Layton is also the founder of Pros From The Shows, delivering professional performing arts experiences for young people through his acclaimed Slay Clubs, and is a passionate advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.
The timing also makes this a particularly exciting moment for Layton, as he heads into LAYTON LIVE following his appearance as King Herod in Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
