Broadway and film star Andrew Barth Feldman is heading across the pond this autumn to make his London stage debut. Best known for his lead role in Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen and his performance opposite Jennifer Lawrence in No Hard Feelings, Feldman will take on the title role in NERO.

Running from 2 November to 5 December 2026 at Southwark Playhouse Elephant, the new musical explores the early life of history’s most infamous emperor, focusing on his artistic ambitions before his descent into tyranny.

The production reunites composer Duncan Sheik and lyricist/book writer Steven Sater—with direction by Lindsay Posner.

Joining the team behind the scenes are choreographer James Cousins, musical supervisor Phil Bateman, musical director Ben McQuigg, and set/costume designer Georgia Lowe. The creative line-up includes Robbie Butler (lighting), Tony Gayle (sound), Harry Blumenau (casting), Georges Hanns (associate choreography), Maybelle Laye (costume supervision), and Eve (props supervision).

NERO is produced by SeenSee Company and Park Myung Sung, with general management by Lambert Jackson.
