The major new UK revival of Disney’s High School Musical is transferring to London this autumn and over Christmas.
High School Musical is set to play the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre in London from 12 October 2026 to 3 January 2027.
The London production will star McFly band member Harry Judd as Coach Bolton.
This immersive new production is starting its run out of town at The Lowry in Salford from 22 August to 19 September, starring Jason Donovan (The Rocky Horror Show) as Coach Bolton.
Cast already announced for Salford – and travelling with the show to London, includes Tobias Turley (Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream) as Troy Bolton, Leonor Correia (SIX) as Gabriella Montez, Caitlin Tipping (SIX) as Sharpay Evans, and Luke Bayer (Titanique) as Ryan Evans. The cast also features original High School Musical film star KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus.
Further casting is to be announced.
On stepping into the role of Coach Bolton for the London transfer, Harry Judd said: “I can’t wait to ‘Get My Head in the Game’ and bring this story to life on stage—sharing all the energy, heart and nostalgia of High School Musical with fans old and new.”
Harry Judd is a member of the hugely successful band McFly, with seven top 10 albums with 10-million albums sold worldwide.
In 2011 Harry won BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, and has gone on to star in dance show Rip It Up , and participated and presented countless TV shows including Celebrity Race Across the World.
