It all starts with gloomy yet hilarious footage of the two queens isolating over Christmas last year. But soon the energy rises when co-writers and co-stars BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon make their entrance.
DeLa directs the performance flawlessly. The interaction between the two drag icons is so well crafted that the friendship between the two transpires clearly.
There are not only sharp lines and witty jokes, but there is even a storyline. Certainly, there are no splits and death drops but the show is packed with entertainment, wigs, vocals, comedy, humor and, oh, the dresses! You are in for a last-minute surprise too!
One highlight of the show is Jinkx’s performance of a classic with awe and laughter at the same time, with a little pantomime-style ingredient that goes always well with the Christmas spirit.
The show tours around the UK for the season and if you are up for a little Christmas drag performance, grab a ticket. Don’t expect a pantomime but you are in for a good laugh!
