If you mix together the London Concert Orchestra, 20 Jingle Belle Dancers, Capital Voices, Kerry Ellis, Tim Howar and John Rigby, you will have the perfect recipe for a Christmas treat.

Jingle Bell Christmas is the joyful Barbican’s Holiday Concert, not to be missed if you love Holiday music. So many people came dressed appropriately Christmassy - with hats, jumpers and flashing lights.

The stage is beautifully designed with two wonderful Christmas trees and all kind of lights.

The London Concert Orchestra is fantastic and sounds so good, perfectly guiding the voices of Kerry Ellis and Tim Howar.

The show is a big festive party with all the Christmas songs in it. Kerry Ellis sang Frosty the snowman, Rocking around the Christmas three, Once upon a December (from Anastasia), the beautiful The Christmas song, Christmas baby please come home, All I want for Christmas is you (of course) and others. I had goose bumps listening to her rendition of When a child is born, in a version mixed with Silver bell. Just amazing. And amazing how she changed outfits for every song.

Tim Howar entertained the audience with Driving home for Christmas, Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Last Christmas, Blue Christmas, a rock and roll version of Jingle Bells and others.

Plenty of duets, with Kerry and Tim in the sing-a-long of White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Baby it’s cold outside and the grand finale with Santa Claus is coming to town and I wish it could be Christmas every day.

The beautiful lights gave a special touch to the uplifting show that was conducted with energy and charisma by John Rigby. Perfect to get into the Christmas mood. I am sure nobody left the room after the show without feeling happier and, indeed, with the right festive spirit.
