The main cast for the upcoming West End production of Paddington the Musical has been announced as rehearsals get underway. Producers also released initial photos from the show, which is based on the beloved character from darkest Peru.

The musical will feature the main cast:

Tom Edden as Mr. Curry

Amy Ellen Richardson as Mrs. Brown

Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as Millicent Clyde

Teddy Kempner as Mr. Gruber

Bonnie Langford as Mrs. Bird

The role of Jonathan Brown will be shared by Joseph Bramley, Leo Collon, Stevie Hare, and Jasper Rowse.

While the actor playing Paddington and the bear's final appearance are still under wraps, the story will follow the famous bear as he arrives in London and is taken in by the Brown family. The show is written by Jessica Swale and directed by Luke Sheppard, with songs penned by McFly singer Tom Fletcher.
