"I don't care if the whole world is against you or teasing you or saying you're not gonna make it. Believe in yourself, no matter what. " - Micheal Jackson
When Peter Andre hee hee'd his way to a standing ovation during his guest appearance in Thriller Live's 4000th show in London, the producers just had to have him back. Kicking off a string of star guest performances before its departure from the Lyric Theatre, Peter Andre will be paying tribute to the King of Pop in Thriller Live between the 10th - 22nd December.
Thriller Live has an amusing history, so I think anyway, it started off as a fan club's annual tribute show in 1991. With each year it became increasingly popular and eventually, Michael Jackson attended himself on the 10th anniversary of the tribute show. With MJ's approval Adrian Grant, the fan club and tribute creator, went on to produce what is now the West Ends 20th longest-running show.
Thriller Live is an open love letter to Michael Jackson and his incredible music, we are taken on a journey starting with the Jackson 5 days, for Peter Andre's opening night we had the pleasure of watching Ishaan Raithatha step into a young Michael Jackson's flares. That kid owned the stage, insanely talented.
Peter Andre delivered a fine performance and really honoured Micheal Jackson in song and mannerisms. He recreated Micheal's 1988 Grammy award performance of " The Way you make me feel" and donned Micheals infamous silver sequined suit from "Rock with you". Micheal Jackson's music as an incredible way of bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds. Thriller Live is suitable for all ages and tonight, Peter Andre and the Thriller Live cast, which also included David Julien who appeared on The Voice's first series, delivered a sensational show. I'm going to be listening to Micheal Jackson's music for days now!
Take my advice, you do not want to miss Peter Andre in Thriller Live. Tickets here
