Queens of Christmas Jinkx Monsoon BenDeLaCreme present their 2023 production The Jinkx and DeLa Holiday Show. Global drag icons and RuPaul's Drag Race stars, BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon embarked on an international tour which is the duo's largest one yet. It features more shows, even bigger theatres 'and a tour (Including the iconic Dolby Theatre). The tour runs until December 30 in the US, UK, and Canada.
Complete with their very own Elf (helper) as the pair attempt to deliver their show with a touch of traditional Christmas characters, Father Christmas, Snowman and Jesus all make an appearance. The show highlights the pitfalls of Christmas as well as the joy. Not everyone is a fan of the festive season as Jinkx explains to DeLa, who loves all the frivolity that the season has to offer.
Glitz and glamour are in abundance throughout the evening. The incredible range of costumes created by Dallas Coulter, Mr. Gorgeous, Paris Original and overseen throughout by BenDeLaCreme. Their shocking pink dresses worn for the finale sparkle brightly under the lights. Each dress made to measure perfectly adding a touch of class to their show.
If you are looking for a Christmas show that's entertaining, funny, musical and different then look no further. Jinkx and DeLa have the makings to become one of the Christmas tradition must-see shows, especially if you like unconventional things.
The duo addresses the audience at the end of the performance highlighting the importance of sharing laughter and love during a very dark time in society, where hatred appears to prevail far too often. Christmas isn't necessarily the “most wonderful time of the year” for everyone and their show can hopefully spread some alternative Christmas cheer.
