Theatre show, Alice in Wonderland - Down the Rabbit Hole! featuring Emily Barnett-Salter returns to West London.
Alice in Wonderland - Down the Rabbit Hole! returns to The Aeronaut Theatre in Acton on Tuesday 22nd December 2020. The show brings the gift of theatre, imagination and play back into children's lives after lockdown.
Hop, skip and splitting into the role of the White Rabbit is London’s own star Emily Barnett-Salter. Emily is known for her roles on stage in Dirty Dancing, Miracle on 34th Street and Singing in the Rain to name a few. Emily is also no stranger to the ‘Silver Screen’ having appeared in movies including Pride and Prejudice and Legend and The Avengers – Age of Ultron.
Alice in Wonderland down the Rabbit Hole! is an immersive theatre experience which captures the audience as they follow Alice (Kerry Boyne – Childrens’ TV Presenter) down the rabbit hole into a fantasy world of magic and wonder where nothing is quite what it seems, with some modern twists!
Join Alices’ adventures in this feel-good comedy as she meets the Cheshire Cat (Voice of Twinnie-Lee Moore - Hollyoaks and Country Music Star), The Mad Hatter (Ashley Luke Lloyd - Dreamgirls), the Queen of Hearts (Brooke Havana Bailey- Billy Elliot) and Tweedle Fab/Tweedle Fabulous (Emily Shuck - Burlesqued). Whilst staying true to the well-loved Alice in Wonderland story, Alice's zany journey of discovery has a modern twist and sees her learning the value of kindness and acceptance of others.
The show's Director Jessica Bastick-Vines (UK Theatre Award Nominee) says "Theatre, community and storytelling has been the heart of UK's culture for centuries. As traditions we have grown up on, making high quality theatre possible and accessible to all post lockdown has been our priority. Seeing our audience's faces light up as they were transported to a world of silliness and imagination was sheer, heart-warming joy"
Writer and Producer of the show Ashley Luke Lloyd says "to see the children's faces light up and seeing them immersed in the theatrical world was absolute magic. Our version of Alice all revolves around kindness and overcoming each other's differences."
The show adheres to social distancing rules and continues to adapt in-line with any new guidelines.
