From this October, Proud Embankment’s sell-out show Cabaret All Stars welcomes the West End’s Favourite Leading Lady, multi-award-winning Kerry Ellis. Ellis will headline this Circus-Cabaret spectacular every Friday in October and November alongside its show-stopping International Cirque de Soleil acts.

Described by Brian May as ‘at the top of her tree in the musical theatre world’, Kerry Ellis has an unparalleled standing in the theatre world and has headlined West End and Broadway shows from being the first Elphaba in London's ‘Wicked’ and originating the role of Meat in ‘We Will Rock You’, she has also enjoyed success in ‘Les Miserables’ and other iconic productions. Kerry Ellis is a “West End legend” (Evening Standard) who is gracing the Embankment stage for a one of a kind show-stopping cabaret spectacle.

Alex Proud says: “In such dark times it has been an honour and privilege to put on a West End show so early. In that spirit, it is even more exciting to announce that alongside Denise Van Outen’s Saturday shows, West End queen and superstar Kerry Ellis will now head up Cabaret All Stars. To have such theatre royalty grace our stage is phenomenal and a treat for everyone who misses the lights and magic of the theatre world.  It is back, it is here and Kerry and the show, sound and look better than ever. Grab a ticket while you still can.

And to add to that, Proud at last adds a world class head chef to bring the best food to the best show. Antonio Vacca has a stunning CV from Boka to Nobu and I am so happy and joyous to see our food offering be of the same standard as our show. This really is a special addition and we are so delighted to welcome him to our family.”

Joining Kerry on stage, Cirque du Soleil performer Katherine Would will perform her incredible aerial act, plus international and award-winning cabaret star Pi the Mime reinvents the art of mime, blending it with dance, drag, clown and burlesque. Darlings of the Moulin Rouge J’Adore La Vie will bring their haute couture burlesque to the party and the infamous international burlesque show ghoul, horror diva and Brazilian bombshell Marie Devilreux is set to astonish.

Zoe Marshall will leave audiences stunned with her rare mouth balancing act and aerial hair hanging, whilst multi-talented Katrina Louise will be showcasing her many talents, including aerial silks, hoop and chains, fire breathing and contortion and burlesque.

Alex Proud is on a mission to save the UK Entertainment sector and prove that the show can go on safely and that the West End can come back stronger than ever.

Alex Proud says: “London is still the greatest city for entertainment in the world. It has been our pleasure to welcome audiences back to the biggest and best Cabaret experience on Earth. We want our customers to know that they are our priority. They can trust us to get this right, and to look after their health and safety as we have been looking after audiences for years. Welcome back to the West End!”

Proud Embankment has undergone a complete makeover to increase capacity by 50% and ensure maximum social distancing. With a modern, glass surround on the upper level at Embankment customers can be sure of clear sightlines and optimum hygiene.  Reduced capacity means better seats, better views and a more personal experience.

The spectacular showstopper Cabaret All Stars features Europe’s most talented music, cabaret, drag and acrobatic acts, performing exclusively in the UK’s biggest and most opulent cabaret venue.

Each evening, Kerry Ellis will take to the stage to perform and introduce the audience to the unforgettable acts. Guests are treated to a delicious three-course menu with welcome cocktail while enjoying the spectacle. Drinks on offer throughout the night include a prohibition-era inspired cocktail menu to match the glamorous Gatsby-esque venue.

In a recent BBC News interview Mr Proud outlined how well prepared and experienced the Hospitality sector is in dealing with in-venue health and hygiene.

“We have the highest standard of filtration systems, exceptional cleanliness and hygiene measures and have put in place industry standard measures adhering to social distancing guidelines across all our venues to ensure customer safety. “

Proud noted that across all venues he has installed a new remote ordering app for cashless payments to reduce client-server interactions and will be offering customers at its flagship venue Proud Embankment the option to sit in separate, private booths. Proud Embankment’s vast, spacious interior is uniquely able to offer maximum distance between tables and diners, with contactless hand sanitiser stations around the venue, single direction signage, single use menus and disposable napkins, and sealed cloakroom boxes for customer’s personal items. The Proud Group aims to offer its audience an environment as clean and as safe as their own homes.
