The Lion King has suspended all performances until next spring, due to the ongoing impact of the Covid.

This includes London’s production as well as the tour, which was scheduled to begin in October 2020 in Manchester. The tour will now begin on Thursday 4th Match 2021.

The statement of the production: "Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19, it is with sadness that we have taken the decision to suspend all performances of THE LION KING until Spring 2021. This includes performances in London and on the UK tour, which was scheduled to begin its season at the Manchester Palace Theatre in October. We appreciate this change will cause disappointment and we very much look forward to seeing THE LION KING roar back on to UK stages in the Spring.

Guests who hold tickets for performances in London will be contacted directly about their booking and given the option to either transfer their tickets to a new date, or to request a full refund. New bookings for future performances will be temporarily suspended. Customers can sign-up for priority access to tickets when performances go back on sale for Spring 2021."
