TKTS London, a popular ticket agency in Leicester Square, that offers tickets to shows at reduced prices, will close "for the foreseeable future as there is no requirement to sell tickets".
TKTS is owned and operated by SOLT (Society of London Theatre), that made the proposal.
More than 20 people are facing job losses.
