Today we talk about lotteries. It is an easy and cheap way to see a show. You just need some luck.
THE BOOK OF MORMON has 2 lotteries: one online (official website) for tickets for the following week (2 for each performance) but also more than 20 tickets for every performance, for just 20 pounds each. You need to go to the theatre 2.5 hours before the performance and apply. So, for shows at 7.30 pm, go there at 5 and at 5.30 you will know if you are the winner.
ALADDIN : you can get tickets at 25 pounds each entering the online lottery (official website ) for the following week (and you can choose which day you prefer)
HAMILTON: 10 pounds tickets can be won for each performance entering through the official app or website, the day before the performance
MATILDA: 25 pounds tickets, online entries (official website)
SCHOOL OF ROCK : 15 pounds ticket, online entries (official website)
HARRY POTTER and THE CURSED CHILD: every Friday at 1pm, 40 tickets are released in the website for every performance of the following week at 20 pounds per part. These tickets are known as ‘The Friday Forty’
EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT JAMIE, KINKY BOOTS, YOUNG FRANKESTEIN and DREAMGIRLS: these shows have daily lotteries that you can access only through Today Tix, that is a website/app for theatre tickets. All you need to do is to apply before 3.30 pm and 3 hours before the performance you will know if you are the winner.
