Ayla: In Concert is a staged musical concert taking place at Lilian Baylis in two runs (3.30 pm and 7 pm) on October 21st. The musical is still in development and is due for its full stage debut in Autumn 2024.

Ayla tells the story of a young woman who questions her own traditions and the powers that be, willing to sacrifice everything she holds dear to fight for a better future for her people and the planet, one that will safeguard the natural world and the delicate ecosystem in which they live.

Its central themes of love overcoming adversity, societal injustice, and man’s impact on the natural world have a powerful contemporary resonance.
