Kinky Boots — featuring a book by Harvey Fierstein and an original score by Cyndi Lauper — returns in a new revival directed by Curve’s artistic director Nikolai Foster.

Inspired by the 2005 film of the same name, the musical tells the story of Charlie Price, who unexpectedly inherits his family’s failing shoe factory. In a bid to save the business, he forms an unlikely partnership with cabaret drag performer Lola — and together they attempt to turn the company’s fortunes around.

As previously announced, Johannes Radebe reprises the role of Lola, opposite Matt Cardle as Charlie Price in Foster’s new staging. Tosh Wanogho-Maud joins as Alternate Lola, performing the role at Monday performances from 6 April 2026 (audiences are advised to check the official website for specific dates).

The supporting cast includes WhatsOnStage Award winner Courtney Bowman as Lauren, Billie-Kay as Nicola, Billy Roberts as Don, Rachel Izen as Pat, Jessica Daley as Trish, Jonathan Dryden Taylor as Mr Price, Scott Paige as George and Liam Doyle as Harry.

Completing the adult company are Andy Barke, Kathryn Barnes, Cerys Burton, Kaya Farrugia, Nay–Nay, Keith Alexander, Nathan Daly, Kofi Dennis, Ru Fisher, Darnell Matthew-James, Liam McEvoy, Ashley-Jordon Packer, Cole Dunn, Annell Odartey, Jordan Isaac and Tori McDougall.

Sharing the younger roles, Sean Garcia Madiba, Noah Ronkainen Phillips and Rio-Blake Power appear as Young Lola, with Archie John Allen, Joshua Beswick, Louis Cohen and Callum George taking on Young Charlie.

The production runs at the Coliseum in London from 17 March to 11 July 2026, following a week of previews at Curve from 3 March 2026, where the tour originally opened. Tickets: here.
