The Almeida Theatre in London has announced full casting for its forthcoming revival of American Psycho.

American Psycho is playing at the Almeida Theatre from 22 January to 14 March 2026.

Starring in the lead role of Patrick Bateman is rising star Arty Froushan (Daredevil: Born Again), who recently starred in the Almeida’s production of The Line of Beauty.

Arty Froushan’s other credits include Leopoldstadt (West End and Broadway), White Pearl (Royal Court), Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, Daredevil: Born Again (Disney+), Carnival Row (Amazon), and House of the Dragon (HBO).

The casting news was first announced by Baz in Deadline, and also features West End stars Tanisha Spring (Moulin Rouge!, Groundhog Day), Daniel Bravo (Mean Girls, Cruel Intentions), Jack Butterworth (Kiss Me, Kate) and Asha Parker-Wallace (Burlesque The Musical).

The strong cast also includes Emily Barber, Hannah Yun Chamberlain, Oli Higginson, Kim Ismay, Alex James-Hatton, Liz Kamille, Anastasia Martin, Millie Mayhew, Posi Morakinyo, Joseph Mydell, Samuel J. Weir and Zheng Xi Yong.

The Almeida Theatre’s outgoing Artistic Director Rupert Goold is revisiting his critically acclaimed production of the cult hit musical thriller, based on Bret Easton Ellis’ infamous novel.

The show boasts a score by Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Glee, Riverdale).

The wider creative team includes choreography by Lynne Page, set design by Es Devlin, costume design by Katrina Lindsay, lighting design by Jon Clark, sound design by Dan Moses Schreier, video design by Finn Ross, music supervisor David Shrubsole, musical director Ellen Campbell, and casting by Natalie Gallacher for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting.

American Psycho runs from 22 January until 14 March 2026 at the Almeida Theatre, London.
