PARLIAMENT SQUARE

Bush Theatre

I went to Bush Theatre to see “Of Kith and Kin” last year and I really liked it.
Can’t really say the same thing about “Parliament Square”, that is the story of this woman who goes to London to do something terrible. And in the second act she will have to learn how to live with the consequences of her act.
Although the acting was very good, the play did not have substance. It never explained or explored why she did this terrible act. I understand this was done in purpose to leave the audience to reflect on the motivations, but for me took away any interest and emotion from the play, making it as a mere description of a pointless anger.
